Details & care
The Viveka is a maxi shirt dress with a pointed collar and a button front. It pulls in at the waist with soft pleats, then opens into a full, sweeping skirt that falls toward the ankle.
The sleeves are full through the arm and gathered into cuffs. There are pockets at the hips. The fabric has enough body to hold the pleats and the skirt's volume, and the dress comes in solids, dots, stripes and prints.
Wear it with flat sandals or sneakers for weekend lunches, or with heeled boots for dinner. The newspaper print is the boldest; the solid green or white suit weddings and garden events. Add a denim jacket over the top on cooler evenings.
